The Tourism and Communications Department of Hartsville promotes the city as a vibrant destination by managing marketing strategies, digital platforms, and community engagement efforts. It collaborates with local businesses and event organizers to boost economic development and civic pride, coordinating events like festivals and arts performances.
The department oversees the Hartsville Museum, Main Street Hartsville, special events, venue rentals, and marketing, operating from "The Key to Your Hartsville," the city's official Welcome Center, which is located at 147 West Carolina Avenue. The Key provides maps, guides, and information about local attractions and events, serving as a resource for visitors and residents alike.
